OSRS Woodcutting Guide

OSRS Woodcutting Guide

With the recent release of Old School RuneScape, there are a lot of new players in this game. If you are new to this game, then this blog is perfect for you!

This blog post will teach you all that you need to know about woodcutting in osrs.????

OSRS Woodcutting Guide:

The most important thing when it comes to woodcutting is your ax. There are many different types of axes, each having its pros and cons, but what it boils down to is how much money you have? The higher quality axe means that they will last longer and chop faster than lower quality axes.

Level 1-26

The Level 1 Woodcutting is elevated to level 26 after completing Monk’s Friend, Enlightened Journey, Icthlarin’s Little Helper, and Skrach Uglogwee sub quest of Recipe for Disaster.

Level 15-35

At levels 15 to 35, the player should cut oak trees. Each log gives 37.5 Woodcutting experience, and 534 logs must reach level 35 (equivalent to 1/3rd of a full inventory).

Willow trees become available at 30 but cutting them offers only marginally faster experience than oaks between levels 15-35.So it may not be worth switching exclusively from one kind of tree to another unless you have no other option for exp gain as this can waste time that could otherwise be used on more efficient methods.

Such as ivy or mining reunite ore instead since high-level players will likely already possess these items through their skills anyway without having had to rely on gathering materials by themselves.

Level 35-99

There are two ways to cut teak in the game. The first is by using tick manipulation, allowing players to gain experience faster than regular cutting at higher levels.

For those not opting for this method, tree-cutting provides the fastest experience until level 65 – after that, it slows down significantly, and leveling becomes difficult as you go up.

Trees in OSRS Woodcutting

Old School RuneScape is an online game that has a variety of trees. There are different types, and the most abundant in regular trees, which can be found nearly everywhere, with multiple ones nearby for convenience.

Regular Trees

In the game of Old School RuneScape, we can find regular trees almost anywhere. These are really abundant, and players should look for a place with multiple trees.

The best thing about these is that they give one log per tree, so it’s better to have more than one to get decent wood gathering experience points as well as a bank nearby. Dead or evergreen do not count towards this type of tree, but still provides 1x logs when cut down.

Oak Trees

There are several spots to find an oak tree at the Hosidius bank in Kourend.

There is a path between Falador park and Falador west bank, where you can find three oak wood logs, just outside Varrock gates west of the west bank, or right south of Seers’ Village near a deposit box.

Willow Trees

There are several willows near Barbarian Assault that aren’t as crowded. The closest bank is in Seers’ Village, and the nearest one to a deposit box is in Hosidius Vinery.

Teak Trees

There are multiple spots of Hardwood trees spread across Runescape. One is located southwest of Castle Wars, one can be found near the Ruins of Uzer, and a third grove resides on Ape Atoll, but it requires the greegree at all times or completion to Monkey Madness II for access without an issue.

There’s also an area in Tai Bwo Wannai with three tree patches that require some progress into Jungle Potion while having 100 Trading sticks handy as well along with some work done during the Minigame – Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup before you could use them freely there too.
