Apart from being a politician, Austrian-American, Arnold is a filmmaker, an actor, an entrepreneur, and a professional bodybuilder. Arnold Schwarzenegger biography is of the winner of Mr Universe and seven times the winner of Mr Olympia.

The early life of the multitalented personality

Born on July 30, 1947, near Graz, in Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s childhood was not the same as he dreamed. Unfortunately, he was the son of a police chief, Gustav Schwarzenegger, who was an alcoholic. His father also held the one-time member of the Nazi party and served in World War II. Gustav favoured his elder son over Arnold, which made Arnold suspect his identity as not his parents’ biological son. Not being close to his father, he automatically had good terms with his mother, which he kept until her death. According to Arnold, his father beat and threaten him, for which he says that when they disobeyed their parents, the rod in their home never spared.

Talking more about his father’s favouritism, Arnold tells how he faced criticism and ridiculed behaviour for his dream of becoming a bodybuilder. This harassment he calls as an uptight and uncomfortable feeling for which he did not pardon his father and brother and did not attend their funerals.

Arnold Bodybuilding Career

He started lifting weights when he was 15, and his dream led him to make his space among the most important figures of bodybuilding. In 1965, he won his first competition of Junior Mr Europe, and in the following year, at the age of 19, he again won the same title, but this time it was not Junior. Arnold competed in various matches and got the victory in almost every game. By winning 5 Mr Universe titles and 7 Mr Olympia, he set the record. Lee Haney broke the record by winning 8 Mr Olympia titles consecutively in 1991.

Arnold showed his passion for weightlifting by continuing the workout. During the Arnold Classics of 2011, he says that he still training with weights for half an hour every day.

A career as an Action Star

After making his name in the bodybuilding world, Arnold started his career in acting introduced himself to the big screen. After playing minor roles, Schwarzenegger won the Best Newcomer Golden Globe Award in 1976 for his performance in comedy-drama named Stay Hungry.

Due to his physical strength, Schwarzenegger selected in action films. In the action films of the 1980s, Conan the Barbarian (1982) and Conan the Destroyer (1984), he became the leading actor. In the series The Terminator, Schwarzenegger played the lead role of the deadly machine from the future. He used his massive physique in the comedy-film Twins as a comic figure.

Being a Politician

Schwarzenegger, for many years, is a registered Republican. His views considered essential and well known. He also has an appearance in an anti-drug music video named Stop the Madness, produced by the Reagan Administration in 1985. His identity as a Republican noticed when he accompanied George H. W. Bush, the vice-president of that time, in a campaign rally of 1988.

As a politician, from 1990 to 1993, he took his first political step as a chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness along with sports. Later, Schwarzenegger served for the Governor Council of California, under the governor named Pete Wilson.

Schwarzenegger, as an ambassador of the Red Cross, served from 1993 to 1994. He during this time recorded various public announcements for blood donation. In 2003, Arnold announced himself as a candidate, participating in the 2003 California recall election and hoping to get the seat of Governor of California, which he won. Arnold worked for the State embroiled in a pathetic budget situation and brought his uniqueness in confidence in his job. He called the democrats girlie-men for having zero guts and advised them to revise the budget.

In 2006, Schwarzenegger again won the re-election bid. He, inspired by former US president Ronald Reagan kept on working to improve the situation of not only the economy but also of the environment.  Reagan was the first politician, Arnold voted for as an American citizen and felt proud of his new identity being a new American.

His second-time selection did not work as smoothly as it worked before, but he tried his best to handle the miserable financial situation of the State. When he left the political office in 2011, Schwarzenegger returned to the office of the entertainment industry. When he used to work in the office, he inspired by the comic book writer Stan Lee, and after leaving the office, Arnold announced to work with her in her new animated series from his times of office.

Arnold’s career as an Entrepreneur

Getting a successful career needs some goal/aim setting, which Arnold used to do. He makes his to-do list at the start of the year and work for accomplishing those goals. His determination made him a millionaire when he was 30 years old before he started his Hollywood career.

Schwarzenegger started from the bricklaying business, in partnership with his fellow bodybuilder. The business flourished after the 1971 San Fernando Earthquake due to the high demand of bricklaying. Using the profits of that business, both partners started selling fitness-related equipment and instructional tapes through mail-order.

Arnold then started investing in real estate business, the first apartment building he purchased, was of $10,000 and then started investing in various real estate holding companies. He also did invest in a shopping mall in Columbus, a state in Ohio. Schwarzenegger, as a professional businessman, is the owner of a production company named Oak Production. And a festival called Arnold’s Sports Festival, and an investment company named Dimensional Fund Advisors.  Not only this, but he also opened a restaurant along with his wife in 1992, called Schatzi On Main. He sold this restaurant in 1988.

Wealth/Riches

Based on his tax returns, he filed in 2006, Schwarzenegger’s net worth, estimated to be $400-$800 million which is more enough than Greta Thunberg networth. It is difficult to accurately be calculated because he had several investments in stocks, bonds, real estate companies, etc., and ownerships.

Personal Life

Schwarzenegger met various women in his life and had a relationship with them. He met his wife-to-be, Maria Shriver, in 1977at Robert F. Kennedy Tennis Tournament. They married in Hyannis, Massachusetts, on April 26, 1986. The couple gave birth to 4 children, Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger, Christina Maria Aurelia Schwarzenegger, Patrick Arnold Shriver, and Christopher Sargent Shriver. The family lived in the Brentwood Mansion, comprising 11,000 square-foot.

The marital life of the couple took an end after 25years of marriage on May 9, 2011. Maria left Schwarzenegger because he fathered a son with an employee more than 14 years ago. Which he claims that he had told the truth to his wife after leaving the governor’s office.
